Tie the invoice back to the approved estimate.

Contractor invoices are easiest for clients to approve when they match the estimate or change order the client already accepted. Keep phase names, material categories, and payment milestones consistent from estimate to invoice.

If the job uses deposits or progress payments, show payments already received separately from the total project value so the remaining balance is obvious.
